Help! How do I make a Double Twisted Knit Stitch?

This morning I was tagged in a Knitting Lodge post requesting help deciphering the written instructions for the Double Twisted Knit stitch, as found in the book, Vampire Knits by Genevieve Miller.  Here is a demonstration on my interpretation of the written instructions.  Good luck to anyone taking on this conquest! 

The Kaleidoscope Scarf
